An adventurous gopher tapes some moose antlers on his head, hops in a
canoe, and heads out to explore his watershed - all the way to the sea!

Managing Weeds in SW Alberta
Managers are getting creative when it comes to fighting back against
invasive weeds. Outreach Assistants Sydney and Rebekkah share some of the
innovative methods used in our watershed that they learned about on the
South West Invasive Managers (SWIM) tour in July 2019.

Only Rain Down the Drain
Stormwater in Lethbridge is not treated - it flows over roads and
sidewalks, down the storm drain, and straight into our Oldman River. If
we’re not careful, it will bring pollutants and debris with it. Here’s how
we can help ensure only rain goes down the drain.

Magrath Nature Trail Student Project
This guest blog is about the Magrath Nature Trail Project, which was
created by grandfather-granddaughter duo Don and Hazel. They are focusing
on ways to enhance the trail to benefit the Northern Leopard Frog, and
Hazel is learning about environmental stewardship and the democratic
